When I was younger, I always pictured myself marrying a beautiful woman, getting a house and one day, possibly, and children. But as relationships and years came and went, I felt the dream slip away slightly.
That was until I met Grace. When we started dating all the passions came back, with more fire and drive than ever. This is one of the many ways I knew that Grace was the one for me.
I first met Grace at the college; she was wearing a furry long-sleeved coat with beautiful blue skin jeans. She had long natural black hair stretch down to her neck. She was a bit slim with chocolate skin. She was with my class mate standing at the college hostel compound. I said hi to her and later got her phone number from my class mate. That was the beautiful beginning ever.
When I decided that I was going to propose, I became very scared. So scared in fact that I began shaking and went pale. Over the next few weeks I saved up and bought the ring and started to think of how to ask her the most important question I would ever ask. Then I decided to prepare a little party and invited her sister and my cousin. I organized with the bistro manager to have a “spider man’s” surprise. And so it worked out.
I knew from the first moment I met Grace, for her beautiful voice and laughter, her positive thinking mind, her charming face, her immediate response and her short temperedness, I would definitely fall in love with her.
So here we are, the happiest day of our lives, and I am sure there will be many more like it to come.
The most beautiful woman I have ever met.
My wife.
